Veganism was invented in November 1944 by Donald Watson, a British woodworker. And now we hear about protests outside slaughterhouses and animal farms. The Covid restrictions have reduced these protests but it is highly likely that these protests will summon once the lockdown is eased.
Whether it is for health, moral, spiritual, environmental reasons or simply to follow the trend, veganism is on the rise. According to a report compiled by media outlet Chef’s pencil, veganism is twice as popular as it was five years ago. And according to the Google trend, UK public are showing the biggest interest in plant-based lifestyle, followed by Australia, New Zealand and Canada. A game-changer, Some would say.
Or, it was a jump towards a different frequency, some would assure. Whatever happened, happened for a reason, some would preach. Regardless, Dec 09, 2017, was a real turning point. The life as I knew it, changed for good. From spending hours trying to scrape the ice off the windscreen due to a broken demister to waking up in a cold box without a blanket, everything is saved somewhere in my mind and, I presume it will stay there forever. I was going to publish something I drafted for the anniversary, but I had a car accident on the very day and the plan dissolved like every other pre-Dec-09-2017 ones. Do I have a regret- Not at all. Do I feel guilty- certainly not Have I forgiven - Of course. Note: This blog was originally published on seanneil.co.uk and is reproduced with permission. Let’s talk about happiness today by asking ourselves a question. What one word or phrase would we describe as our goal in our life? Just one. Let's make it bit easier by adding a list here. If we were given a chance to pick ONE thing in life from the list below, what would we choose? Will it be:

Scotland is home of spirits, and at the Scotch Whisky Experience, we never stop talking about them. Today, we are taking you to the world of spooky spirits, that either have a taste of a dram or who simply love Scotland.
Here are our top five spooky spirit stories in no particular order. (We couldn’t put these in spookiness order, because our spook-o-meter is broken)
Gnocchi & tomato bake I hope you enjoyed the previous recipe. This one is even easier, Gnocchi according to the mighty Wikipedia, are a variety of pasta consisting of various thick, small, and soft dough dumplings that may be made from semolina, ordinary wheat flour, egg, cheese potato breadcrumbs cornmeal or similar ingredients. Image: BBC Good Food I am back. (again) It was quite astonishing to notice that few people are still visiting this page. I haven't been here lately, however I do have tonnes of stuff I want to post here, hopefully in the New Year I would like to offer my sincere apologies for those who are (probably) regularly visiting this page, either expecting a new post, or laughing at my bad writing. Either way, I am sorry for treating you like a Jehovah's Witness. So. 2018 is finally coming to a rest. I am ready for the New Year, are you? No, not the "New Year new me BS". (Note: This is an extract from an unedited, but slightly compressed version of a fiction, one of my ongoing projects.)
“I hate being broke” This was the first thing I knew about you. And this is how it begun. You were a regular visitor/contributor to a web forum. I was redirected there by an advert/clickbait. Coincidence? Fate? Destiny? you decide.. I responded your post with a genuine empathy. And to be honest, I was not expecting a response. However, you surprised me.
Mondays can be boring, lets spice it up ( or down, whatever you want) with my collection of one liners.
